PRIVACY POLICY

How we handle your information.

A plain-English summary of what we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

TrueSummit is an Australian technology studio. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through www.truesummit.com.au, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, organisation (optional), area of interest, and the message you write.

To protect the form from spam and abuse, your IP address is checked in temporary server memory to limit repeated submissions. It is not added to your enquiry or kept in a database.

Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.

Why we collect it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, discuss a potential engagement, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

How it is stored

Enquiries are sent via Resend, an email delivery provider that may process data outside Australia (for example, in the United States), and are received and stored in our Microsoft 365 business mailbox. Our hosting provider may also process data outside Australia; we choose reputable providers with recognised security practices.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, and we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only disclose it to service providers who help us operate this website and our email, or where required by law.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by sending a request through our contact form. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
